As per the applicable provisions of the PSARA Act and Gujarat State Rules, applicants are required to complete the prescribed training for Security Guards, Supervisors, Security Officers/Managers, or Owners/Partners, wherever applicable, through a Government-recognized training institute in Gujarat. The Training Certificate is issued exclusively by the respective recognized institute upon successful completion of the prescribed training and fulfillment of its requirements. Required Security Guard Training Certificate?

Training of Security Guard

Under the provisions of the PSARA Act and the applicable State Rules, every Private Security Agency is required to comply with the prescribed training requirements before deploying security personnel on duty. Security Guards must successfully complete the mandatory training program through a Government-recognized training institute or an approved in-house training center, after which a Training Certificate is issued. Additionally, where applicable, the Owner, Partner, or Manager of the agency must obtain the prescribed training certification before applying for a new PSARA Licence. Mandatory PSARA Training Duration

Security Agency Owner / Partner / Manager: Approximately 6–7 days of mandatory training as prescribed under the applicable State Rules.
Security Guard: Approximately 21 days of mandatory training before deployment on duty.
Ex-Servicemen: Training exemptions or reduced training requirements may be available as per the applicable State Rules. Applicants should verify the eligibility criteria before applying.
